In the field events, the Bulldogs had a pair of eighth-place finishes in the long jump as Johnathan Osifuye (Woodbury, Minn.) was eighth in the men’s long jump with a mark of 22-8 while Taryn Rolle (Nassau, The Bahamas) was eighth in the women’s field at 18-1. Reed Fischer, 13:55.27 The Bulldogs return to the Iowa State Classic for the second day of competition on Saturday, Feb. 11, with events starting at noon inside ISU’s Lied Athletic Recreation Center. Fischer’s time of 13:55.27 in the indoor 5,000 meters bested the previous record held by Bulldog great Brogan Austin by more than four seconds.
