Angels invite left-hander Ian Krol, 18 other non-roster players to spring training

Ian Krol, a left-handed reliever who has pitched parts of five seasons in the majors, has signed a minor-league deal with the Angels, with an invite to big league camp.Krol was among the Angels’ non-roster invitees listed when they released their spring training roster on Tuesday.The list also included, of course, Shohei Ohtani, who is not on the 40-man roster because, per terms of the collective bargaining agreement, he signed a minor league deal.Outfielder Jahmai Jones, one of the Angels’ top prospects, also made the list for his first invite to big league camp.
