It is made more impressive by the fact that the tickets are priced at $10 for most seats, while many other programs give away spring tickets for free. This afternoon, Nebraska football announced that the April 13 game has sold out as well. From the Omaha World-Herald:The game will be Scott Frost’s second spring game at Nebraska. Last season, NU set a school attendance record with 86,818 fans. The game sold out quicker in 2018, as it was Frost’s debut. This year, tickets went on sale to season ticket holders on Tuesday, with the general public being able to purchase them Wednesday. Roughly 80,000 tickets were distributed in the first 48 hours.Frost’s first team finished the year just 4-8, but the team improved a ton throughout the season, and won four of its last six games, and was very competitive in losses to Ohio State and Iowa. With quarterback Adrian Martinez entering his sophomore year, the hype has not dissipated much.[Omaha World-Herald]last_img
