Congratulations to the Batesville Lady Bulldogs, the Greensburg Lady Pirates, and the Oldenburg Twisters for qualifying for the semi-state meet this Saturday in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs girls’ team and the Twister Boys’ team both finished 3rd in the regional this past Saturday at South Dearborn. The Greensburg Lady Pirates’ finished 5th at the same regional.Cross Country runners qualifying for the semi-state on an individual basis include Conner Bell, Caleb Moster, Cole Nuhring of Batesville and Megan Hoover of North Decatur. These 4 individuals ran well enough to place in the top 15 so they qualified even though their team did not.This week the competition will get even tougher because most of the Indianapolis area schools that they did not see this past Saturday will be competing against them. Good luck to the 3 teams and the 4 individuals as they attempt to make the state meet.
